Wayne Holloway is one of UnLtd’s favourite directors. And he also happens to be a talented author. His first novel – Bindlestiff – has been launched to critical acclaim. Set in the dark underbelly of Hollywood, the story centres on an English director’s attempts to hawk a script around the studios. Razor sharp and cruelly funny, not unlike Holloway himself….
The Guardian have tapped into Wayne’s appreciation of Tinsel Town and asked him to contribute to their ‘Top Ten’ series. Listing his ‘Top 10 books about Hollywood’, Wayne identifies some of the knowns (James Ellroy is a stand out) and some more obscure titles.
